Welcome to the Woking Family Contact Centre
Promoting Safe Contact With Your Children
Here at the Woking Family Contact Centre, children living with one parent can meet and spend time with the other parent in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
An additional service offered to visiting parents who have permission to take their children out for the afternoon, is that they may use the Centre as a “handing over” venue
The Centre is run by a Coordinator and other trained volunteers.Oversight is the responsibility of a separate Management Committee whose members are also Trustees of the Charity
The Centre is one of a nationwide network of Contact Centres affiliated to the National Association of Contact Centres ( NACCC). NACCC provides guidance and support to its members. For further information visit www.naccc.org.uk
We are open but not during the November lockdown
We are pleased to announce that Contact Sessions restarted on Saturday 17 October and will continue every first and third Saturday of each month except November 2020, and subject to any future changes in Government advice. Our first priority, as always, is to ensure the safety of our visiting families and our volunteers and therefore we are booking just 3 families each time.
Our management committee has carefully reviewed a Re-opening Risk Analysis which can be opened by clicking on the reference below. That Analysis complies with the advice given by the National Association of Child Contact Centres. Our Guidance & Procedures for Families Visiting the Centre should also be read by all parents and other attending adults. Each visitor will be asked to complete and sign a Health Questionnaire & Agreement. Both documents are available below.
New families are welcome. Please visit the Contact Us page and submit the appropriate Referral Form or call us by phone. Because of the current limits to places new families will be placed on the waiting list as soon as we have received the completed forms.
